The church of England School punish a pupil over misidentifying the gender of another pupil

According to the news published on BBC.com on September 11, 2017 of a parent that had to withdraw their son from a Christian school because they claimed he was disciplined for misidentifying the gender of another pupil.

The school was said to belong to the church of England, and the parent of the disciplined child express their disappointment in what the school call "respecting the diversity of all kinds", and for the fact that the school never informed the parents of the pupils of the school before enacting such a act of allowing pupils to dress as they like irrespective of their gender.

The parent claimed this has brought confusion and unhappiness to their son and put forward a legal action against the school while the school accused the parent of a "transphobic behaviour.

12 dead, 18 rescued as Boat Capsided due to Heavy Storm

On the 20th September, 2017 approximately 12 people was found dead as a result of the windstorm which struck and capsized a boat carrying 24 passengers accords the waters in kaduna. According to the report by the observers and rescuers, the windstorm came barely 30 minutes after the boat took off from the shore. The chairman of boat riders association appeals to the government to please provide assistance in the area of safety wears that will help them in managing such situations to reduce casualties.
